So, I made it to Nashville. Eventually, my brother and I were able to hook-up in the airport. He was waiting on one side of the airport and I another - for an hour. Ugh. Thanks to the echoing sound of “Would Michael Sprouse please meet his party”, we met. Made it back to his lovely home and relaxed. He grilled burgers and my sister-in-law Carrie, made a great vegetable melody. His daughter Heidi joined us and we sat outside on the deck in the lovely warm sunset.
Though I didn’t sleep as well as I would have liked, I did sleep a bit because I remember snippets of odd dreams. I remember waking up hourly it seems in a daze. Eventually, I got up for good around sunrise. Carrie was up and we had espresso made in the wonderful Italian stovetop espresso makers that I have recently fallen in love with. George phoned from Collingswood and discussed the trip and the morning. He says it is a beautiful day there. And it is here as well. 75 and sunny. I am now in a great coffee house called the “Frothy Monkey”.
I have been here before. It’s very hip with great coffee drinks and free wi-fi. Gotta love it. More later.
