I ran across the following item in CNN this morning. According to the article, a star exploded "halfway across the universe" which was so huge that "it set a record for the most distant object that could be seen on Earth by the naked eye." Mind boggling. This event occurred 7.5 billion years ago and the light finally hit our scope of reality last night! Here's the link:

This was a film I first discussed in a 31 Days of Oscar post. While I often
think of other Chaplin works first. This is one I still rate as a 9/10.
